political party to register to
vote.

ready to vote in all elections.
A postcard will be sent to you
confirming your registration and
telling you where to vote.
You can register and vote if
you: • Will be at least
18 years old on election day. •
Are a citizen of the United
States. • Will have lived in
Minnesota for 20 days
immediate3ly preceding election
day. • Are not under a
court-ordered guardianship in
which the court order
revoked your right to vote. • Have not been found by a court to be
legally incompetent to vote.
• Have the right to vote
because, if you have been
convicted of a felony,
your felony sentence has expired (been completed) or you have been
discharged from your sentence.
You may
vote by absentee ballot if:
• You will be away on election
day;
• Illness or disability keeps
you from voting in person; or

conviction keeps you from voting
in person.
