Upcoming Clinics and Registration Information now on Carlton County’s Website

To view upcoming clinics and registration links for COVID-19 vaccine clinics through Carlton County Public Health and Human Services, please visit the Carlton County COVID-19 Hub. The COVID-19 Hub can be accessed through Carlton County’s homepage by clicking on the “COVID-19 Hub” icon.

Currently, Carlton County Public Health and Human Services is only providing vaccine that requires eligibility age 18 and over. Interested persons aged 16-17 are encouraged to reach out to their healthcare provider for vaccine availability. Carlton County’s website and click the “COVID-19 Hub” icon to view upcoming clinics and registration information.

If community members prefer to call to register, they can call 218-499-6310. This phone number is available Monday through Friday 8am-4pm.

Dave Lee, Director of Public Health and Human Services shares “Carlton County’s vaccination rates are some of the highest in the state. We are encouraged by the number of residents who are taking precautions to protect themselves and others.” As a reminder, getting a vaccine helps to protect those in our community who might be at higher risk, not only for a person’s own protection. Lee follows up by saying, “our community is growing in protection with the vaccine, but we also encourage residents to follow the protection measures we also know work like masking, social distancing, and getting tested if symptomatic.” COVID-19 testing locations can be found here: https://mn.gov/covid19/get-tested/testing-locations/index.jsp

If a person signed up through the MN COVID-19 Vaccine Connector, this does not schedule you for an appointment, and you may not receive a call to schedule an appointment; a person’s best plan is to reach out to a registered vaccinator to schedule an appointment. Carlton County is a registered vaccinator, and other options can be found using the Vaccine Finder: https://mn.gov/covid19/vaccine/find-vaccine/locations/index.jsp.

Another reminder that Carlton County is using the Everbridge mass notification system to notify Carlton County residents if there is availability for COVID-19 vaccines. Please sign up for Everbridge here to receive these, and other Emergency Notifications: https://member.everbridge.net/453003085611079/login.
